Every Easter moms try to prepare colorful and attractive desserts for their families. I saw these nests on the internet, and I thought why not try them gluten-free? So I got all the ingredients and prepared them and they turned out to be delicious, attractive, and festive.

Servings: 20 nests

Preparation time: 30 minutes

- 200 grams marshmallows, gluten-free like Kraft®  or Erko®
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 3 cups rice puffs, gluten-free like Nestle®
- 1 tbsp. jam (strawberry or apricot), warmed for 10 seconds in the microwave
- Chocolate vermicelli, or grated chocolate
- Colored chocolate eggs, try to find gluten-free ones

  1. Put the butter in a non-stick pot on the medium heat.
  2. Once warm, add the marshmallows and start mixing.
  3. Stir the marshmallows until they are totally melted.
  4. Put off the heat, and start adding the rice puffs one cup at a time.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Put some vegetable oil in a small bowl to dip the spoon in.
  7. Take small portions of the marshmallow mix and start forming the nests with your hand using a deep round spoon or ice cream scoop to shape the nests. (see photos)
  8. Put the nests on a sheet to cool and dry.
  9. Brush the inside of the nests with the jam, to help the vermicelli stick in the bottom of the nests.
  10. Sprinkle the vermicelli or grated chocolate, then lay the eggs inside the nests.
  11. Serve the nests for your kids over Easter or at birthday parties.
