- 20 figs (preferably black but white will do)
- 50 grams gorgonzola cheese (check this link and this link for gluten-free gorgonzola)
- 10 slices Parma ham or 20 slices turkey bacon
- 2 tbsp. honey
- Freshly ground black pepper

  1. Make a cross slit on the top of each fig.
  2. Insert a small piece of blue cheese.
  3. Cut each piece of Parma ham longwise. (Don’t cut the turkey bacon because it’s already thin)
  4. Wrap the Parma ham or turkey bacon around each fig.
  5. Arrange the figs in an oven pan.
  6. Drizzle honey over the figs and sprinkle black pepper.
  7. (No need for salt because the ham or bacon are salty, and the cheese is salty too)
  8. Bake in a pre-heated oven on 200°C for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Serve warm with fillet of beef or as an appetizer.
